Pay: $22-$27 per hour depending on experience

BMB Home Remodeling, a growing home remodeling business based in Waukesha, WI, is seeking a drywall specialist to join our team. As a drywall installer, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall in homes and commercial properties throughout Waukesha and South Eastern Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:

Measure and cut drywall to fit walls and ceilings of various sizes
Install and secure drywall to walls and ceilings using appropriate tools and techniques
Finish drywall seams, joints, and corners to create a smooth and even surface for painting
Repair damaged drywall by cutting out damaged sections and replacing them with new drywall
Follow established safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment
Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Communicate with clients to understand their drywall needs and provide recommendations
Clean up work areas and remove debris from job sites

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing
Knowledge of drywall installation and finishing techniques, materials, and safety guidelines
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
Travel to job sites in our service area
