BMB Home Remodeling, a growing home remodeling business based in Waukesha, WI, is seeking an experienced finish carpenter to join our team. As a finish carpenter, you will be responsible for crafting and installing finished woodwork, such as trim, molding, and cabinets, in homes throughout Waukesha and South Eastern Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:

Measure and cut woodwork to precise specifications
Install finished woodwork, such as baseboards, crown molding, and wainscoting
Install cabinets and built-in furniture
Sand, stain, and finish wood surfaces
Collaborate with other members of the remodeling team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Communicate with clients to understand their finish carpentry needs and provide recommendations
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Ensure all finished work meets quality standards and specifications

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as a finish carpenter
Knowledge of woodworking tools and techniques
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
Travel to job sites in our service area
