Pay: $19-$24 per hour depending on experience

BMB Home Remodeling, a growing home remodeling business based in Waukesha, WI, is seeking an experienced painter to join our team. As a painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces of residential and commercial properties throughout Waukesha and South Eastern Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
Mix, match, and apply paint to meet specific color requirements
Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surrounding areas
Clean up work areas and remove hazardous material from job sites
Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Communicate with clients to understand their painting needs and provide recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience as a painter in a residential or commercial setting
Knowledge of painting techniques and tools, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers
Ability to mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding
Willingness to learn and adapt to new painting techniques and technologies
Travel to job sites in our service area
